Promoting Preventive Health in Africa

Helping build healthy people

Glove Foundation is an NGO registered since 2011 to promote the dissemination and exchange of medical and scientific knowledge among students, health service workers and the general public through health education campaigns, communal medical screening and medical research across Africa. The foundation began softly as a students’ club, Christ Is The Answer (CITA-KNUST) in 2010 where it was only operational in the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

After a year, the then club became GLOVE (God’s Love) FOUNDATION in other to extend its support to communities and the general public. The foundation works in collaboration with  government health institutions, like-minded NGOs, students’ organizations in health, private health institutions, professional health workers and non-health individuals who share in our vision.

Our outreach programs have reached many people in different parts of the African continent including but not limited to Tanzania, Benin, Nigeria, Malawi, Dr Congo, Cameroon and Ghana.

“He who cures a disease may be the skillfullest, but he that prevents it is the safest physician.”

OUR PROGRAMMES

Communal Health Outreach

Our free medical screening programmes aid in early detection of condition which means getting the right treatment at the right time; this gives patients better control over their health and reduce the risk of complications.

Public Health Education

Preventing and raising awareness of diseases and healthcare topics by education, empowerment and health promotion on every possible level is of great essence to our course and the media provides us that tool.

Medical Research

At Glove Foundation we engage in high level medical research to drive our programmes and campaigns based on communal relevance. We also use our research work to advocate and support health policies and programmes to governments as well as local & international development partners

Donations & Fund-Raising

Thanks to our donors and partners, we are able to donate free medical tool kits such as mosquito nets, nose masks, hand sanitizers and raise funds to support medical bills of needy people. We also use our health screening programmes and media campaigns to encourage people to donate blood to local hospitals and clinics to help save lives.
